As the year kicks off in high gear, CEO MouyeGang and Dream Rayne press the gas with a feverish Afro-Carribbean inspired album titled Water & Fire. Set to release this Friday (January 19th), the dynamic duo promises to deliver dance and Dancehall vibes to digital streaming airways.

Under their production label ‘Reigning King Productions’, the album introduces audiences to their multi-dimensional musical talent. A week before its release date, the project was previewed during their official listening session and left observers amazed at the songwriting and production quality. Every song from beginning to end would quote “make you want to get up and dance” and dubbed as an “anthem touching places you never even heard of”.

The expectations are high for Reigning King Productions as they’ve established their presence beyond the US into Canada and the UK. Afrobeat in general has gone mainstream creating excitement for average listeners who have never been exposed to the islands or motherland. While the decision to release an Afrobeat album may appear unprecedented, both musicians come from ethnic backgrounds; CEO MoyeGang of Haitian decent and Dream Rayne of Nigerian decent. They attribute their lyrics to both personal experiences and cultural references by including pidgin dialect and Creole language.

Look out for Water & Fire available on all streaming platforms this Friday!
