Headquartered in Miami, Globe Music originally launched as an instrumental-first label built for modern listening environments — spanning Jazz, Bossa Nova, acoustic guitar and piano, LoFi, Deep House, Ambient, and more. Over the past two years, the company has grown its catalog to 100M+ streams and is now approaching 200M streams across its full catalog, supported by dozens of composers, musicians, and producers, and an international team of 10 which is spread all around the globe, which inspired the name Globe Music.

Through that process, Globe Music gained deeper insight into the rising value of music catalogs and the growing demand for music rights as an asset class — leading to a different conclusion.
“We realized that instead of selling our catalog, it made more sense to keep building it — and start acquiring other catalogs as well,” Breternitz said. “The market is showing clear demand, and we believe artists deserve options that prioritize both liquidity and legacy.”

Globe Music will acquire master and publishing rights across all genres and styles. The company’s acquisition model is designed to help rights holders unlock liquidity — converting future earnings into capital today — to support new releases, invest in production, strengthen touring plans, or fund broader business goals. To support this next phase, Globe Music has established US banking relationships intended to help finance future acquisitions and scale activity over time.

A Founder Story Rooted in Music, Creativity, and Global Perspective
Breternitz’s founder journey reflects Globe Music’s cross-border identity. Born in a small town in central Germany and raised in Cologne, he began playing drums at the age of three before expanding into beat production and piano. He later appeared in the German film Teufelskicker and in various television productions, experiences he credits with sharpening his presence and creative expression.
Now based in Dubai, UAE, Breternitz splits his time between Dubai and Miami, drawing on each location’s culture and energy. His creative background also includes custom fashion and sneaker design — repurposing designer materials into one-of-one pieces — which led to collaborations with major influencers across Germany.
