The world-famous band only selects the top performers for their highly anticipated tours and so it was without question that Jose Alonso was the next man up to be selected to join them.

You have played alongside people like Jenni Rivera, Chuy Lizarraga, Banda Tierra Sagrada, Banda Sinaloense, Banda Carnaval, and Pancho Barraza. Who would your ultimate collaboration be with?
Each collaboration, whether with Jenni Rivera, Chuy Lizarraga, Banda Tierra Sagrada, Banda Sinaloense, Banda Carnaval, or Pancho Barraza, has been a remarkable experience, performed in front of thousands of fans, making every show special. While I hold each collaboration dear to my heart, my ultimate dream would be to collaborate with an iconic figure who embodies the essence of regional Mexican music, someone whose talent and influence have left an indelible mark on the genre. Regardless of who that may be, I’m grateful for the opportunity to have shared the stage with such talented artists and to continue creating memorable music experiences for fans everywhere.
How do you prepare for a big concert?
Preparing for a big concert takes a lot of practice and dedication, but every moment invested is absolutely worth it. It starts with meticulous rehearsals, fine-tuning every note and choreographing every move to ensure a flawless performance. Mentally, I focus on getting into the zone, visualizing the stage, and channeling the energy of the crowd. Physically, I prioritize rest, hydration, and healthy habits to ensure peak performance on show day. It’s a rigorous process, but the electrifying energy of the concert and the connection with the audience make it all worthwhile.
