The “Good Time” and “Better Days” singer just released a ‘Live From The Road’ edition cut of his electrifying take on the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s iconic ’80s anthem, “Fishin In The Dark”, and later this month has teased his newest jam, “These Are The Days”, which is also the same name as his upcoming tour (alongside opening country artist act Sophia Scott).

“I find peace of mind out on the lake. [These Are The Days] is all about living in the moment and drifting on a pontoon like a bait line,” reveals Moon in a statement about his new summer single. And as for his just-released Fishin track, Moon comments, “We had no intention of releasing this when we recorded it. Every night, we record our set so the team can listen back and hear where we can improve. But on this night in Denver, magic was captured! The energy, the band, everything just came together, and I couldn’t keep it to myself. This one is purely for y’all.”

From fishing to relaxing on a pontoon boat (while sipping we can only assume on his new healthy water beverage that also launched a few weeks ago entitled, Happy Himalayan) on the lakes just outside of his home in Nashville, TN, Moon has created summer anthems that all can enjoy. And unlike other country artists today, Moon has paved his own musical niche in the industry, becoming a person who only sings about positivity; It’s no wonder one of his previous hits was entitled, “No Sad Songs”!

“With everything I do in life, I want it to have a positive impact,” further states Moon.

Originally from Tyler, Texas, Moon relocated to Douglasville, Georgia before heading to where he is now in Nashville, Moon is no stranger to creating songs that just stick their landing. He has previously written eight number one songs and over 40 major record label cuts for artists such as Morgan Wallen, Avicii, Dierks Bentley, Pitbull, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts and more. He also co-produced the Zac Brown Band albums, Jekyll+Hyde and Welcome Home, and was recently named a SESAC country songwriter of the year.

With “These Are The Days” coming up, Moon is giving us a summer jam we can all blast on our pontoons and during our waterfront activities.
